1. Operational structure & role of Umrah.org.pk
Umrah.org.pk operates as an independent booking facilitator and rate-monitoring service. We connect pilgrims directly with accredited, licensed Pakistani travel agencies approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umrah, including Mashal Travels, Al-Ehram Travels, Travigation, and Meezab Group of Pakistan.
All group airline tickets, electronic Umrah visas, and Saudi hotel reservation vouchers are formally executed and issued by these accredited licensed operators in accordance with government regulations.
2. Price quotations & tariff validity
All package prices displayed on Umrah.org.pk are indicative estimates calculated in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) per person, based on standard room occupancies (Double, Triple, Quad, or Sharing). Rates are updated monthly based on current market contracts.
- Price adjustments before deposit: Airfares and Saudi hotel rates fluctuate daily depending on flight seat classes, fuel surcharges, and Saudi Riyal (SAR) currency valuation. A written quote provided via WhatsApp or email remains valid for 48 hours or until the airline reservation time-limit (TL) expires.
- Price lock upon booking deposit: Your package price is formally locked and guaranteed once the mandatory initial booking deposit is paid and your flight PNR and hotel allocation are confirmed in writing.
3. Strict payment policies & anti-fraud protection
To eliminate financial fraud and protect pilgrims from unregistered middlemen, we enforce the following mandatory payment rules:
- Never pay into personal bank accounts: We will never ask you to transfer money into an individual's personal bank account, Easypaisa, or JazzCash account. All electronic transfers must be deposited directly into verified corporate company bank accounts.
- Cash payments at our office: Cash payments are accepted exclusively inside our physical Islamabad office (Office F21, Gulberg Business Center, Gulberg Greens).
- Official stamped receipts: Every payment must be acknowledged by an official stamped receipt indicating the passenger names, passport numbers, package itinerary, and remaining balance. Retain your receipts until the journey concludes.
4. Passport validity & visa issuance requirements
Pilgrims are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents meet Saudi immigration regulations prior to visa submission:
- Passport validity: Passports must possess a minimum validity of six (6) months from the intended travel departure date. Machine-readable or chip passports are required.
- Mandatory documentation: Original CNIC/NICOP, white-background digital passport photographs, valid Polio vaccination card, and biometric enrollment via the official Saudi Visa Bio mobile app (where applicable).
- Visa authority: The issuance or denial of an Umrah visa is under the sovereign jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the rare event of a visa rejection or security hold by Saudi authorities, mandatory government processing fees and insurance charges already incurred are non-refundable.
5. Hotels, room types & check-in policies
- Occupancy categories: "Double" indicates 2 beds; "Triple" indicates 3 beds; "Quad" indicates 4 beds; "Sharing" indicates 5 to 6 single beds per room. Single male and female pilgrims in sharing packages are accommodated in strictly gender-segregated rooms.
- Check-in and check-out timing: Standard check-in time across hotels in Makkah and Madinah is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon) to 1:00 PM. Early arrivals or late departures are subject to hotel availability and may require additional night bookings.
- Distance from the Haram: Distance measurements provided on this website are approximate walking distances measured from the outer courtyard of the Holy Mosques. Actual walking times may vary depending on pedestrian congestion during prayer hours.
6. Cancellations, date changes & refund policies
Because Umrah group allocations involve contracted block airline seats and advance hotel guarantees in Saudi Arabia, cancellation terms are strictly enforced:
- Airline tickets: Group Umrah airfares (PIA, Saudia, Airblue, AirSial, etc.) carry specific airline penalty structures. Once ticketed, tickets are non-refundable or subject to airline cancellation deductions. Date changes depend on flight availability and difference in fare class.
- Hotel reservations: Hotel cancellations made less than 14 days prior to departure are non-refundable. During peak periods, including Ramadan, Rabi-ul-Awwal, and the winter holiday season, all hotel bookings are strictly non-refundable once confirmed.
- Visa & insurance fees: Once an electronic Umrah visa is approved and issued by Saudi MOFA, the visa and insurance fee is 100% non-refundable under all circumstances.
7. Airline schedule modifications & flight delays
Airlines reserve the right to alter departure schedules, change aircraft equipment, or introduce operational delays due to weather, air traffic control, or technical necessities. Umrah.org.pk and our licensed operating partners will make all reasonable efforts to adjust ground transportation and hotel logistics to match amended flight times, but cannot be held financially liable for airline-induced delays or lost accommodation hours.
